having to throw away your hard-earned money on interest and minimum payments and late fees every month feels defeating at any income level but why does debt feel like such a good option to people increased expectations so for example let's say your kid start a new school and their friend's parents make a little bit more than you and you're starting to be friends with them and you're kind of seeing what they're doing whatever it is when you're surrounded by a new aesthetic it's easy to feel like you have to level up every part of your life but trust me it does not have to be that way don't take one step forward just to take two step steps back take it slow and make progress over time.
