we were going in you know driving to the restaurant and Caroline our six-year-old was like oh I just don't want to have lunch and I was like you don't have to have lunch babe we're going to a restaurant for breakfast she's like no restaurants only have lunch and dinner and I was like no they have pancakes and breakfast like you can get breakfast and she was like what oh my gosh obviously the cises don't go to breakfast out at restaurants ever uh and so it was so funny because we did that which was apparently a really big deal we went home we played some games with the kids we end up going to the neighborhood pool we had some friends over grilled steaks and it was a great day I mean it was but my kids thought it was amazing so it just reminded me you know when it comes to these big celebrations whether it's birthdays or anniversaries or Mother's Day or Father's Day yes there was a time and a place go big enjoy celebrate yes but also it does have to cost a lot of money and honestly time with your family being present with your kids means so much to them and I feel like I get reminded of that over and over again it's not the money we spend it really is the time being with them so just a little bit of encouragement if you have a big celebration coming up don't put pressure on yourself to spend a lot of money
